Since Trudeau doesn't read newspapers or watch news but relies on someone to tell him if anything is important happening,maybe his sources should tell hm about the 200 more coal plants in China ,Trumps intention on more coal.Mr Trudeau give your head a shake what we do for climate change is like a fart in the wind no one notices except the poorer citizens of this country through your crazy taxes
At worst its a tax grab. At best, if properly run, it might be a chance to re-tool our country for the future. Dear Canadians, you may have read that China's investing $360 Billion in renewables over the next 3 years. At the end of that time we can expect they will be well on the way to getting off hydrocarbons, and would also have developed impressive technology for use at home and for export. Our Carbon tax - MIGHT be a chance to compete in the 2020s, if it can be responsibly used to develop our own renewables tech and good jobs. I must say though, if Trudeau relies upon the same policy clowns that Wynne did - it will become a slush fund for liberal cronies and a complete boondoggle.

Here in rural Ontario where we farm, the thought of more taxes on out diesel, propane and natural gas for our corn driers and green house production is starting to get out of hand. The insane green energy act has put our electricity rates to absurd levels, foreign investment is driving up land prices and taxes. Farmers put carbon back into the soil with our crops. Farmers should get a carbon credit from the government for what we do for the environment. Canada has the least amount of carbon emissions in the industrial world, but we have a PM who thinks we pollute like China and the USA. We certainly have to monitor and be aware of what we are doing to the environment, but we are not the problem on the world stage.
How arrogant can this ass-clown be to think that he and he alone can change a process that has occurred for billions of years? Like duh, there is tons of scientific proof that there was an ice-age, numerous ice ages....hence fricking climate change!! Water vapor is way more of a greenhouse gas than carbon ever could be!! All living things on this world need and also produce carbon to survive!! Maybe the little dictator should have just called it what it really is instead of lying with his bullshit claim and scare tactics to save the human race from climate change, a damn tax on breathing, basically on EVERYTHING to give him more of our money to rule his one man empire.
